Hi, I'm Kimberly, the owner of Panhandle Bookkeeping, LLC, and a QuickBooks ProAdvisor serving small business owners from Milton, Florida.
My path to bookkeeping wasn't a traditional one. I've worked in tech support, food service, and retail, and each experience taught me something different about working with people, solving problems, and getting the job done. I've always been naturally good with numbers, though, and one of my coworkers eventually suggested that I consider a career in accounting because of it.
That suggestion stuck with me.
As a mom, I wanted to build a career that would allow me to work from home while still being available for my children. Bookkeeping was a natural fit. It gave me the opportunity to use something I've always been good at—working with numbers—while building a business of my own.
What I love most about bookkeeping is taking something that feels overwhelming and turning it into something that makes sense.
A stack of transactions and financial records can feel like a lot to sort through. But when those transactions are organized, reconciled, and turned into clear financial reports, they begin to tell a story. You can start to see patterns, understand your cash flow, and get a clearer picture of what's really happening in your business.
That's the part I enjoy.
I don't just want to enter transactions and check a box. I look for patterns. I ask questions. When something doesn't look right, I research the problem until I understand what's happening and can find the proper solution. I put my heart and soul into my work because I know that your books aren't just numbers on a screen—they're information you rely on to make decisions about your business.
My goal is simple: I want you to feel less stressed after working with me than you did before.
I believe bookkeeping should give business owners more than organized records. It should give you clarity and confidence in your numbers so you can spend less time worrying about your books and more time focusing on the work only you can do.
As a lifelong resident of Milton, I care about the small businesses that make our community what it is. I believe in doing business with integrity, treating people with respect, and doing my work thoroughly and honestly.
If you're tired of feeling overwhelmed by your bookkeeping or simply want a clearer understanding of what your numbers are telling you, I'd love to help.
Let's turn your books from a source of stress into a tool you can use to make better business decisions.
